In case you aren't able to find OPI Cajun Shrimp, I have found a very close dupe. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Kook-A-Mango. I honestly can barely tell a difference. Can you?
Index and ring fingers are Cajun Shrimp. Middle and pinky are Kook-A-Mango.

ESSIE Swatch: Bachelorette Bash
Hi all! Hope you had a fun and safe Independence Day weekend. Here is a quick swatch on my thumb of Bachelorette bash. A vibrant pink creme.
By the way, I still can't post replies to any comments. Again, does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you.

I Can't post comments??!!!
Can anyone help me? I have been trying to post replies to comments, but I haven't been able to for some time. Is there a preference or something I need to do? TIA!!!
REVLON: Plum Night
Hello everyone! I hope you are all able to keep cool. It's been so hot here on the east coast lately.
Anyway, here is a gorgeous deep purple that almost looks black. It actually does look black in my pictures. I took a picture with just the bottle to try and get a more accurate color. But IRL it looks like a deep, grape juice purple. It's a creme and goes on very nicely but definitely needs 2 coats. Please excuse the bubbles, I have the A/C on but still needed my Hawaiian Breeze fan on......and you know what happens when you apply nail polish with a fan on. This bottle shot is truer to the actual color on the nail.
Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Thanks for hanging with me!
Hello everyone! Just wanted to say thank you for hanging around while I was not posting :) I found about a dozen dusty nail polishes in a box in the back of my closet this weekend. So I'll start posting swatches of those soon, possibly today. I've cut my nails back again because they are peeling on the sides and break too easily these days. But the peeling is getting better. I also finally found my PERFECT base coat. Actually I rediscovered it.
My favorite base coat in the beginning was China Glaze Strong Adhesion. The only reason I stopped using it was because I was almost out, and Sally Beauty Supply was out as well. So I tried something else thinking base coats were all the same. Well, this started a long and not so fun adventure trying to find the perfect base coat that prevents staining and keeps my polish attached to the nail. So the other day, I saw my old (almost empty) bottle of CG SA. I figured I had nothing to lose since the other base coats have failed me. Yes, it was kinda thick now and not so easy to spread. But let me tell you, my polish has lasted over a week with only slight chipping on my right thumb nail. After a week of this proof, I went to SBS and they had it in stock and I bought a bottle for me and one for my daughter. Now I am a happy "polisher". :D
What is your favorite base coat that actually works for you? Do any of you have some old polishes that you still love that are probably discontinued? I would love to know about them.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!
Just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms. Especially to my mom, she is the BEST! Sorry I haven't posted in a bit, I am giving my nails a break. They are getting a little dry and peeling. I try to keep them moisturized, but all the polish remover is wreaking havoc on them I guess. So anyway, have a wonderful day and I'll be back as soon as I can.

OPI Pamplona Purple
Hi all. I hope everyone in the southeast is doing ok following this string of storms. We were lucky where I am at, a tornado was just a few miles away. We didn't lose power or anything either. So yes, we were very blessed today. So I applied a gorgeous purple since the sun came out and it became a beautiful day.
What are your favorite purples? Hope you all have a blessed rest of the weekend and thank you for looking.

China Glaze China Rouge
Here's a great red that I wore for a few days this week. It actually looks more like a blue-red than in these pics. They make it look more orangey.

Zoya Marley & Caitlin Swatches
Hi everyone! These are my first and only Zoya nail polishes. They probably will not be the last depending on if all Zoya's are like these. The consistency was rather streaky and thick, maybe I got a bad batch? The brush is terrible though, I really hate a thin and flimsy brush. Takes too many strokes to cover the nail. These two could have been "one coaters" if the brush was wider and thicker.
Here's Marley:

These are such gorgeous colors, I just wish the brush was better. Do you have any favorite Zoya polishes?
Have a great weekend all!!! Thanks for looking.

A Couple NOTD's
Well, I am really having trouble getting pics taken. I have been using my mother's camera because I keep forgetting to bring mine when I visit. These are the only 2 decent pics I was able to get out of about 5 different NOTD's. First up is Essie Sew Psyched:
Next I have China Glaze Lubu Heels:
I am going to try my best to remember my camera from now on. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

NOTW: Layering with Essie Sexy Divide & Milani Totally Cool
Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend. I am spending it with my daughter and parents, so that is always great for me. :) Also, when my daughter and I were going shopping yesterday, I broke both (not one) of my thumb nails. O_o Yep. So I had to go back down to nubbins just when they were growing long again. Oh well, what do you do? Well, you go dark and purple, that's what. And while Sexy Divide is gorgeous on it's own, I could never really get into Totally Cool. So I put Totally Cool on top of Sexy Divide. Check out the results!
So what do you think? I think it's pretty awesome, the only problem is that I couldn't really capture the Totally Cool purple that it really is. Thanks for looking!

NOTW: Rimmel Lava Red
Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Sorry I haven't posted in a bit, but my laptop died and had to wait for a new one to arrive. Also left my camera at home and had to use my mom's camera. Anyway, here is a gorgeous sparkly red from Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro.
Remember, all pictures are clickable....thank goodness. Especially since these pics came out so small for some reason.
Thanks for looking and have a great evening!

NOTW: OPI Ski Teal We Drop
Hi everyone! First off, I have to say how pleasantly surprised I am to have followers to this blog. That being said, I have to say that I really appreciate and enjoy all of your comments.
I am going to be a hypocrite here, because I said previously that I really do not like blue polishes on me. Well.......guess what? I found one that I kinda like. Here it is:
Also, so far so good on the Orly Bonder Base Coat. Pretty happy with that so far. Have a great week everyone!
