ESSIE Swatch: Bachelorette Bash

Hi all!  Hope you had a fun and safe Independence Day weekend.  Here is a quick swatch on my thumb of Bachelorette bash.  A vibrant pink creme.

By the way, I still can't post replies to any comments.  Again, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you.

REVLON: Plum Night

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all able to keep cool.  It's been so hot here on the east coast lately.
Anyway, here is a gorgeous deep purple that almost looks black.  It actually does look black in my pictures.  I took a picture with just the bottle to try and get a more accurate color.  But IRL it looks like a deep, grape juice purple.  It's a creme and goes on very nicely but definitely needs 2 coats.  Please excuse the bubbles, I have the A/C on but still needed my Hawaiian Breeze fan on......and you know what happens when you apply nail polish with a fan on.  This bottle shot is truer to the actual color on the nail.

Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a great weekend!

OPI Pamplona Purple

Hi all.  I hope everyone in the southeast is doing ok following this string of storms.  We were lucky where I am at, a tornado was just a few miles away.  We didn't lose power or anything either.  So yes, we were very blessed today.  So I applied a gorgeous purple since the sun came out and it became a beautiful day.

What are your favorite purples?  Hope you all have a blessed rest of the weekend and thank you for looking.

China Glaze China Rouge

Here's a great red that I wore for a few days this week.  It actually looks more like a blue-red than in these pics.  They make it look more orangey.

OPI You Don't Know Jacques

Hi everyone!  Here's an oldie but goodie.  I always love wearing this one.

Zoya Marley & Caitlin Swatches

Hi everyone!  These are my first and only Zoya nail polishes.  They probably will not be the last depending on if all Zoya's are like these.  The consistency was rather streaky and thick, maybe I got a bad batch?  The brush is terrible though, I really hate a thin and flimsy brush.  Takes too many strokes to cover the nail.  These two could have been "one coaters" if the brush was wider and thicker.

Here's Marley:

These are such gorgeous colors, I just wish the brush was better.  Do you have any favorite Zoya polishes?
Have a great weekend all!!!  Thanks for looking.

NOTW: OPI Ski Teal We Drop

Hi everyone!  First off, I have to say how pleasantly surprised I am to have followers to this blog.  That being said, I have to say that I really appreciate and enjoy all of your comments.
I am going to be a hypocrite here, because I said previously that I really do not like blue polishes on me.  Well.......guess what?  I found one that I kinda like.  Here it is:

Also, so far so good on the Orly Bonder Base Coat.  Pretty happy with that so far.  Have a great week everyone!

NOTW: L'Oreal Breaking Curfew

Breaking curfew is a beautiful, vampy, deep blood-red.  Love the color, but the formula and application was not good.  It required 3 coats to be totally opaque and streak-free.  It was almost a jelly consistency.

Thanks for looking, and have a great week!

NOTW: SHXW Grey Area

Hiya!  Hope everyone is doing great.  This week I am trying a different base coat, also not using Gelous over the BC.  Trying to figure out why I am getting severe chips on about day 3 of my mani's lately.  So we'll see how this works out with Orly Bonder.

Which base coat works best for you?
